As part of the newly launched Keep Bangor Creative campaign, local artists/creatives and organizations producing arts-based projects are encouraged to apply for three new micro-grant opportunities designed to help spark new creative endeavors in the Greater Bangor area. As Bangor grows and develops, it is essential that we equip new generations of creatives with the resources they require to bring their artistic projects to completion. Our community is strengthened if we work to preserve our unique creative, artistic & cultural assets combat the displacement of local artists and creative projects due to lack of resources.
Current micro-grant opportunities include:
Artists & Creatives Grant – For individual artists or collectives working in any creative discipline
Organizations Grant – For Non-profit organizations developing arts-based projects
Allan Lloyd Trott Memorial Grant – Creatives working specifically in Poetry, Literature or Spoken-Word
Artists of all disciplines and experience levels, as well as both established and newly-formed organizations are welcome to apply!
